Zum Brotkasten in Halle (Saale)

I have been to this location several times and have never been disappointed. Service and food are excellent. This year we could not have our Christmas dinner on site, but the owners made the food available for pickup. And it was really delicious 😋

Good ambience and good food.

From the outside it is more of an inconspicuous corner pub, but cozy inside. Our little pooch was welcome too. The food, just great. No frills, solid food, sufficiently large portions and all at very good prices. The seasoned meat was a poem, the cream mushroom schnitzel was great too. Absolute recommendation!

Delicious, quaint, fair prices, friendly, quick service. Tasty prepared dishes as always. Well-seasoned solid German cuisine with popular variations and plenty of choice from meat and fish to vegan and great fresh asparagus. Flexible u also open for special requests. Luckily we got one of the last tables u are glad that it is open again. Thanks u keep it up !!!

Very good restaurant as you know it from before. Fast friendly service. Very good menu. Stay the way you are and I'll be back. Here you can get at least one meal under 10.00 euros.

Quaint restaurant that reminds of the good old days. Friendly, fast service, attractive menu with nicely served dishes, which unfortunately have disappeared from many menus (GDR steak schnitzel in real). Price and performance are right. In the end, a friendly chat where the other guests are not forgotten. Great!

The schnitzel was awesome. Great price-performance ratio! Only the liquor card could be a little more selected.

If you like it rustic and authentic is just right. The food is delicious and the service deserves 6 stars.

Small, but very cozy. The highlight is actually the food. I've been there a few times now, I've never really been disappointed. Today we were with a group of 10 people, of course you have to reserve in advance with such a number. Nobody, but neither was disappointed. The food is absolutely great 🤗
